据东森新闻2月3日报道，大S家人通过媒体表示：“谢谢大家的关心！新年期间，我们全家来日本旅游，我最亲爱善良的姐姐熙媛，因得了流感并发肺炎，不幸地离开了我们。感恩这辈子能成为她的姐妹，彼此照顾、相伴，我会永远感激她、怀念她！珊～一路好走！永远爱你 together remember forever！”
