1月24日，泰国首都曼谷空气污染严重，当地350多所学校停课。为遏制污染，曼谷市及周边地区已经禁止焚烧秸秆。此外，东南亚多地24日也都遭遇严重的空气污染。柬埔寨环境部24日表示，金边的空气质量已经达到“严重污染”水平。
