财联社1月25日电，当地时间1月25日，危地马拉总统办公室证实，危地马拉外交部正与美国白宫保持持续沟通，并已准备好每周接收约18架次搭载从美国遣返的危地马拉公民的航班。危地马拉官员表示，美国通过军用航班已将264名危地马拉公民遣返回该国。返回危地马拉的人员通过由总统阿雷瓦洛发起的“回家”政府援助计划，得到了有尊严的对待。
