中国地震台网正式测定：1月21日00时17分，在台湾台南市（北纬23.24度，东经120.51度）发生6.2级地震，震源深度14公里。
地震造成台湾全岛震感强烈，泉州、厦门、福州、莆田等地震感明显，宁波、上海、杭州等地亦有震感反馈。
