1月16日晚9点，任天堂正式公布了Switch 2。有媒体发现，任天堂官推公布Switch 2的推文浏览量已经超过了5000万次，看起来Switch 2将在日本地区大受欢迎。
相比而言，任天堂美国官推相应推文浏览量只有4000万次（油管浏览量1600万次），日本地区比其多了1000万，但人口只有后者的三分之一。
