当地时间14日，美国洛杉矶县表示：山火已致25人死亡，超1.2万栋建筑被毁。在山火重灾区帕利塞德，当地居民称洛杉矶富人有钱能让山火改道。
记者发现，当地的高档商铺边停满私人租赁水车，每一辆都装有12吨左右的水随时待命；一街之隔的另一侧，则是大片被火烧过的废墟。
