日本东京大学与筑波大学1月15日宣布开始共同运行新的超级计算机“Miyabi”。据称，在国内学术用途的系统中，“Miyabi”的性能仅次于理化学研究所的超算“富岳”。
两所大学透露，主要被使用的1120台运算设备等设置在柏校区，还配备了图形处理器（GPU）。与以往的超级计算机相比，“Miyabi”的电力效率提高约9.5倍，该超算将运行至2030年。（共同社）
