北京时间1月8日，前山东男篮主帅、现山东篮球协会会长巩晓彬在直播中透露，自己会在全运会执教山东22岁以下组。
巩晓彬表示：“这个今年，可能会带领22岁以下组，去参加全运会。”
第15届全运会将于2025年11月9日-21日在粤港澳大湾区进行，上届全运会山东全运队在小组赛便出局。
