当地时间12月27日，根据新加坡政府电子版宪报，新加坡最高法院针对兴隆贸易公司创始人林恩强及其子女Lim Huey Ching和Lim Chee Meng作出的破产令已于2024年12月19日生效。林恩强子女二人均为公司董事。
今年11月，新加坡石油大亨、兴隆集团创始人林恩强因在一起案件中欺骗汇丰控股并唆使伪造证件而被法院判处17年半监禁。据了解，林恩强及其子女已于9月同意在另一起民事案件中向其公司的清算人和债权人汇丰支付36亿美元，并已申请破产。
