当地时间12月26日，巴勒斯坦外交部发表声明，谴责以色列国家安全部部长本-格维尔当天上午进入位于耶路撒冷老城圣殿山的阿克萨清真寺大院。声明称，本-格维尔的行为是对巴勒斯坦人的“挑衅”。
本-格维尔是以色列极右翼政治人士。就任以色列国家安全部部长以来，他曾多次前往阿克萨清真寺大院，引发巴勒斯坦各方以及国际社会的强烈谴责。（央视新闻）
