12月24日，淮宿蚌城际铁路蚌埠段在建设中。淮宿蚌城际铁路正线全长约161公里，设计时速350公里，建成运营后，将成为皖北城市群连接合肥都市圈及沪宁杭等地区的便捷通道，对于打造“轨道上的长三角”、完善区域城际快速铁路网布局等具有重要意义。通讯员 马二虎 摄
