12月21日晚间，中山大学化学学院官微发布讣告：中国共产党党员、我国著名高分子材料科学家、教育部长江学者特聘教授、聚合物复合材料及功能材料教育部重点实验室主任、中山大学化学学院教授、博士生导师章明秋，因病于2024年12月20日不幸逝世，享年63岁。
