12月12日，海南省海口市公安局秀英分局发布警情通报，内容如下：
11月18日晚，我市西海岸发生一起命案。犯罪嫌疑人刘某杰（男，43岁）因涉嫌故意杀人，已被警方执行逮捕。
刘某某（女，32岁）在听闻此命案后，自行编造“杀老婆”“做成肉馅”等虚假信息并散播，造成不良影响。 目前，刘某某已被警方行政拘留。
