今天（12月7日），俄罗斯外长拉夫罗夫在卡塔尔举行的多哈论坛上表示，俄罗斯将向叙利亚提供军事援助。拉夫罗夫指出，叙利亚反政府武装“沙姆解放组织”是恐怖组织，俄不能接受叙利亚被恐怖组织控制。他呼吁叙利亚政府与“合法反对派”开展对话，同时各方应立即停止“敌对活动”。（CCTV国际时讯）
