中国选手宁忠岩以1分44秒26获得亚军，美国选手斯托尔在拿到500米冠军后再度以领先宁忠岩0.32秒的优势夺得1500米冠军。
女子方面日本名将高木美帆1分55秒07获得金牌，2-5名均由荷兰选手获得，两名中国选手韩梅和杨滨瑜分列第6和第9。意大利短道速滑名将方塔纳排名B组第八，成绩为1分59秒97。
