北京时间11月20日，WTT福冈总决赛首个比赛日，中国队单打比赛已全部结束。中国选手林高远0-3不敌达科-约奇克，梁靖崑1-3不敌张本智和，二人均止步16强。如此一来，中国男单在此项赛事仅剩王楚钦与林诗栋。
林诗栋将于明晚19:20对阵法国选手艾利克斯-勒布伦；王楚钦于明晚19:55对阵德国选手弗朗西斯卡。
