近日，为充分展现打击整治枪爆违法犯罪工作成效，公安部组织全国公安机关开展集中销毁非法枪爆物品活动。此次集中销毁活动以“销枪爆、除祸患、保民安”为主题，全国公安机关共举办140场现场活动，集中销毁近年来收缴的各类非法枪支8.8万余支。（本报记者 封莉）
