10月14日晚的世预赛18强赛韩国客战科威特的比赛中，比赛第64分钟，效力于浦项铁人的后卫李太锡替补出场完成韩国国家队首秀。
完成韩国队首秀后，李太锡与其父亲李乙容成为了韩国历史第三队父子档国脚。
前两对分别是金灿基（已故）与金锡元父子，还有车范根与车杜里父子。
此外，李乙容还有一个儿子，目前效力于阿联酋的豪尔费坎，名叫李承俊，现年20岁。
