当地时间11月11日，日本家电连锁巨头野岛宣布将收购日本电脑厂商VAIO。野岛将从企业再生基金日本产业合作伙伴（JIP）手中获得VAIO超90%股权，收购金额为112亿日元。
野岛将在2025年1月取得VAIO约93%股份并将其纳为子公司。索尼集团将继续持有约5%的VAIO股份。除野岛外，VAIO还将向其他家电连锁店供应产品。VAIO品牌将继续保留。
