据Reddit用户realcoloride消息，V社近期在Steam库存页面添加了提示，提醒玩家旧版Steam家庭共享将于2025年初停用，玩家需要创建或加入「Steam家庭」以继续共享游戏。
今年9月，Steam官方宣布新的「Steam家庭」功能已正式上线，Steam家庭整合了多个和家庭有关的新老功能，将取代此前的 Steam家庭共享 及 Steam家庭监护。
