当地时间10月30日凌晨，位于英国坎布里亚郡的英国核潜艇船坞发生火灾。有目击者拍摄的视频和图片显示，英国航空航天系统公司（BAE，又译称“英国宇航系统公司”）的巴罗因弗内斯造船厂冒出火焰和浓烟。
警方通报称，有两人因吸入烟雾被送医，其他人都已从造船厂撤离。据称，目前事态仍在持续，但“没有核风险”，不过建议附近居民待在室内、关闭门窗。
