新加坡贸易与工业部10月14日发布初步预估数据显示，今年第三季度新加坡经济增长加速，同比增长4.1%，上一季度为同比增长2.9%。经季节调整后，新加坡第三季度国内生产总值（GDP）环比增长2.1%，远高于第二季度的0.4%。
