据来自包头市防灾减灾救灾指挥部消息，2024年9月1日4时57分，在内蒙古自治区包头市昆都仑区发生3.8级地震，震中位于固阳大道2号隧道向东约300米山内，震源深度15千米。 地震发生后，市区两级抗震救灾指挥部第一时间与市地震局调度了解震区情况，赶赴震中位置了解震情，初步排查震中位置周边无居民及建筑物，目前无人员伤亡及房屋坍塌情况。
