8月9日，中国大熊猫保护研究中心发文称，都江堰基地发现大熊猫“妃妃”出现抽搐后，立即采取了急救措施，目前“妃妃”已停止抽搐，兽医和饲养员团队正在对其进行密切观察。
“妃妃”已29岁，此前状态一直很好，从未发生过抽搐情况，后续将对其进行全面检查。
