据央视新闻，受台风“格美”影响，湖南湘潭县涓水突发决堤险情，附近部分村庄被淹。为保障供电，国网湘潭供电公司组织人员设备及车辆全力投入应急抢修、抗洪保电工作。截至8月1日晚，湘潭县受洪涝影响地区，共7717户已全面恢复供电。
