8月2日，台积电发布声明称，公司不曾参与任何投资或股票买卖相关的公开团体、刊登这类广告、或分享投资理财经验。台积电指出，社群网络的投资广告称可低价申购台积电库藏股，实为诈骗。对于诈骗情事，公司保留法律追诉权。
