美国东部时间18日，美国微软公司旗下部分应用和服务出现访问延迟、功能不全或蓝屏无法访问问题，对多国包括航空、铁路、银行、企业、媒体等在内的多领域造成影响。截至美国东部时间7月19日中午，美国有超过2000架次航班被取消，超过5300架次航班延误。央视记者刘骁骞在美国旧金山机场就正好赶上了令人崩溃的机场瘫痪事件。（央视记者 刘骁骞）
