北京时间7月1日，据ESPN报道，金州勇士将裁掉克里斯·保罗，他将成为一名自由球员。
根据此前报道，克里斯-保罗已和勇士达成一致，同意将下赛季合同中3000万美元是否转为保障的日期推迟到到自由市场开放之初，以让勇士获得时间全力以赴来促成一笔重磅交易。
上赛季，保罗在为勇士效力的58场比赛中场均上场26.4分钟，得到9.2分3.9篮板6.8助攻。
