印度首都新德里5月29日气温创52.9℃历史新高，东部最高达49.9℃。近日正逢印度大选，然而，印度选民排队投票之际，面临“酷热难耐”的高温天气。5月31日，高温已致33人死亡，包括多名选举官员。比哈尔邦14人死亡，其中10名为选举官员；北方邦至少9名选举官员丧生。据报道，这些选举值班官员常需整天站岗，多户外工作。
