当地时间1月15日，智利农业部下属的国家林业公司宣布，一架支援该国中南部森林火灾灭火工作的小型飞机在工作中发生事故，坠毁在一条公路上。飞行员死亡，事故还造成路上一辆汽车里3人受伤。
林业公司表示，飞机在低空飞行时撞上了电线杆，然后坠落在公路上并引发火灾。目前已开始进行调查和善后工作。（总台记者 马天静）
