小托福（TOEFL Junior）由ETS（Educational Testing Center）美国教育考试服务中心，专为全球11—15岁中小学生开发的权威英语能力测试。

主流学习人群为5-8年级，中国大陆考区报名年龄上限为17周岁，不设年龄下限。

小托福考试由三大部分组成：听力、语言形式和含义、阅读。每部分分数范围是200-300之间，整体满分为900分。考试时长为115分钟。考查的词汇语法最高难度相当于国内高三及以上水平。

考试文章题材基于美国校园真实场景，包括“学术类”和“非学术类”两大方面内容。其中“非学术类”内容还原校内学生之间，师生之间及社会生活中可能发生的交流内容。“学术类”主要指课堂上老师关于学科内容进行的讲解，例如天文、历史、地理的课程内容。

小托福成绩用途

学校申请适用于美国高中的申请；也可作为ESL（语言课程）的学习评价。衔接托福学习对标国际英语考试 小托福成绩单对应CEFR标准，可换算托福雅思 等国际英语考试，分数可作为后期衔接托福的参考。

小托福与托福的区别

词汇量小托福词汇量：3500-4500，托福词汇量：8000以上。

考试形式小托福为线下纸笔试或机试，托福为线下机考。

题目形式小托福没有写作，托福考察听说读写。

考察内容小托福3项都是单选题，托福没有语法项，写作为主观题，考查思辨能力。

文章长度小托福阅读文章平均300左右，文章字数少，句子短。托福阅读文章平均单词700以上，文章长，长难句居多，最好有一些社科类的知识储备。

考试难度托福考试要求应试者在语言能力上达到欧洲共同语言框架体系(CEFR)的C1、C2两个级别，而小托福考试的要求为A2、B1、B2三个级别，其所要求的能力比托福考试要低，但跨度要比托福考试更广。

小托福对标雅思810-900分的小托福成绩对标托福50-60分，雅思5.5-6分。
