10月3日，杭州亚运会男篮1/4决赛继续进行，中国台北男篮85-66击败日本男篮闯入四强。
此役，中国台北男篮的林庭谦得到全场最高的28分，两位归化球员阿巴西和阿提诺分别得到19分和17分，今村佳太贡献日本队最高的15分，同时也是全队唯一得分上双的球员。
亚运会男篮半决赛中，中国台北男篮将面对约旦男篮，而中国男篮则将面对菲律宾男篮，比赛均在10月4日进行。
