1921年，溥仪在宫中与瑾太妃爆发激烈冲突，瑾太妃大怒，招瓜尔佳·幼兰入宫问责，百般羞辱责骂。
回府后的瓜尔佳·幼兰气郁难消，吞鸦片自尽，年仅37岁。
