未来三年全国将要开通运营的高铁，绝大部分集中于华东、华南和成渝经济圈。
湖南省就比较落寞了，不仅未来三年，未来五年之内也不会有新线开通。
按照目前的高铁建设时序，只要实质开工的，基本也要四五年。而过去五年，湖南没有一条高铁实质开工。
因此，湖南未来的高铁地位会在南方地区不断弱化，这是湖南多年来交通建设只围绕长沙转的恶果。
