美联储发言人9月22日证实，今年将裁减约300名员工，为2010年以来首次裁员。
美联储发言人表示，裁员主要集中在12家地区联邦储备银行，主要涉及信息技术岗位，包括一些“由于云计算软件普及而不再需要的岗位”，以及与美联储正在整合的各种支付处理系统有关的岗位。
