QR Code

“二维码”的英文是“QR Code”，这个很多同学应该都知道。但“QR”是什么意思呢?

其实它是“Quick Response”的缩写，反映出这种二维码具有“超高速识读”的特点。“Quick Response Code”也就是“快速响应码”。

维基百科是这么解释的：

A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional barcode) first designed in 1994 for the automotive industry in Japan.

QR码(Quick Response code的缩写)是一种矩阵条码(或二维条码)，最早于1994年在日本为汽车工业设计。

其实我们口中所说的二维码字面直译应该就是two-dimensional barcode.

bar code /ˈbɑː ˌkəʊd/ 的意思是“条形码”，也就是我们之前最常见的衣服或者货物上结账时候机器扫的码。

例：

Our customer will provide barcode labels to be applied to the product.

我们的客户将提供用于产品的条形码标签。

例：
