MAGES.宣布将推出《屍体派对》系列最新作 —— 《屍体派对2 Darkness Distortion》，2024年发售，平台未定。官方在日本时间8月12日，也就是PSP游戏《屍体派对 血星笼罩之恐惧再现》发售13年的纪念日官宣了这一消息，预计在不久后公布更多细节。
《屍体派对2 Darkness Distortion》是继PSV《屍体派对》之后时隔九年的完全新作，制作人野村泰彦表示粉丝们可以期待由系列原作“祁答院慎”所创作的全新原创故事，以及与以往作品完全不同的“全新世界”。
