8月8日，《魔兽世界》官方宣布10.1.7补丁“狂怒化身”将于9月5日正式上线，该版本内容包括：新公共活动“梦境涌动”、传承护甲任务“夜精灵与被遗忘者”、全新自订选项“夜精灵、被遗忘者与德莱尼”、英雄难度巨型地城、全新故事任务“重制提尔与更多内容”、节日重制“啤酒节与万鬼节”。
