北京时间7月23日，老鹰队官方宣布，球队正式签下36岁老将韦斯利-马修斯。根据此前Woj的报道，这是一份一年的合同。
马修斯上个赛季效力于雄鹿队，代表雄鹿出战了52场常规赛，场均可以得到3.4分2.2篮板0.7助攻。
