据香港电台网站6月14日消息，港铁公司与香港应用科技研究院签订合作备忘录，预留2000万港元深化双方合作，进一步提升港铁铁路营运及智能维修的表现和效能。双方未来会共同研发及应用不同的新技术，例如物联网、人工智能、数据分析等，联手打造“智慧铁路”。
