1902年，日本人参观位于东三省的沈阳故宫，皇太极猎获的大黑熊，后来因为标本保存出现了问题，所以看上去像大老鼠。现在，如果去往沈阳故宫参观游玩，就会发现，这两只大黑熊的标本，依然被妥善安置在沈阳故宫的一处名叫“东配宫”的地方。
