应城城中西河渡水系连通项目2023年4月份进展，工程位于湾上新河，将新建一座长95米、宽24米桥梁，改造道路长286米、沿河两岸绿化及环境整治18053平方米，沿河两岸立面改造19400平方米，新建小型污水提升泵站一座，配套实施强电、弱电、给水、燃气等管线迁改等。
