1982年，上海阀门厂，排队等待打饭的职工。1984年大学毕业进上海纺织厂，第一年48元5角实习工资，第二年转正58元，已经让工人师傅很眼热了，青工们往往是36元。食堂最贵的三鲜汤（有油煎小带鱼、小肉圆、肉皮、粉丝、菠菜）是2角，一般一顿吃2角5分～3角。
