Canonical 推出了其新一代的Linux发行 SemiCode OS。SemiCode OS 是为程序员和 Web 开发人员设计的 Linux 。作为 Windows 和 macOS 的替代品，新的操作系统包括 GNOME 桌面环境，还预装了一些流行的编程语言的 IDE ，并有 Slack 和 Git 等工具来支持开发团队。
此外，SemiCode OS 还提供类似于苹果Siri 和微软Cortana 的Sarah 虚拟助手。虚拟助手来自终端并支持多个命令。它也可以将单词从一种语言翻译成另一种语言。
改系统目前已发布测试版，可提前下载体验。
