声明表示，经过一系列短暂的住院治疗后，美国前总统吉米·卡特当日决定在家中与家人共度余下的时间，并接受临终关怀而不是额外的医疗干预，这个决定得到了卡特家人和医疗团队的全力支持。据悉，卡特于去年年满98岁。
