2022年4月4日早晨6时多的莘县孔繁森广场，杨保遂、王世国、马瑞朝、李新灵、李小杰、刘银华正在广场分散开来打拳。突然听到有人落水了，他们赶紧跑到了河边，跳到了水里，游到了这对母子身边。他们几人联合架推着落水母子往岸边游去，这时岸边的众人递过来长棍把他们一一拉了上来。
