1949年，邱清泉阵亡后，一位战地记者拍下的照片，从镜头中我们可以看到，他的身上有很多弹孔，经过后来分析判断，是一长串机枪子弹扫射过来，将他击毙的，致命伤是在腹部。
作为抗战名将，他曾经令得日寇闻风丧胆，可惜最后竟然是这样一个结局，也实在是令人唏嘘。
