据韩联社报道，韩国电影振兴委员会12月19日数据显示，《阿凡达：水之道》16日至18日吸引超203万人次观影，领跑周末票房榜。该影片于12月14日在韩首映，上映5天累计观影人数达到268.1万余人次。这与2009年上映的前作《阿凡达》（187万多人次）的成绩相比，吸引观众速度更快。
