太平沟地处大柏山中，是朝阳县北四家子乡谢杖子村的一个自然村。太平沟村民，在大山里生活，春种秋收都离不开毛驴。秋收的时候，他们要用毛驴把收获的粮食驮回去，最后还要把地里的秸秆也驮回去，或喂牲口或烧火。
