青年基金获得者、北京大学材料科学与工程学院教授、原北京大学工学院能源与资源工程系系主任王习东教授，于2022年8月6日下午突发疾病，抢救无效，享年61岁！
王习东教授，2004年获得国家杰出青年科学基金；2005年获国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴，2006年入选“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选。
沉痛哀悼！
